There really isn’t much difference between a saint and a sinner. Does this shock you? I know it does hold on to your seat. The Bible (not me) say’s we are saved by GRACE through faith, not of WORKS, lest any MAN should BOAST! Many people misquote this verse and say we are saved by faith, NO! Grace is the act of justification towards sinful men and women; even though we are saved we are still guilty! Saved only because of GRACE…God’ unmerited favor. Now where does FAITH come in, The Bible say’s that to every man God have GIVEN a measure of FAITH….pay attention! We can’t even brag about OUR FAITH! Why? God gave us the FAITH to believe on His GRACE! So the next time you look down on a sinner…remember, you are a STILL a SINNER too, just saved by His GRACE. Now some of you DEEP folks will tell me I AM NOT A SINNER ANYMORE! Well Paul was as saved as a person could be yet Paul called himself THE CHIEF of SINNERS…why? Paul realized how far God reached down to save him, THINK ABOUT IT! > > Chaplain Mark H. Stevens, M.Min > New Jersey Institute of Theological Studies >
