The majority of pro football players are black, yet you don't hear a lot of bad things going on with them (with the exception of the Cincinnati Bengals) because the NFL has an entirely different set of rules when it comes to behavior on and off the field, hence the reason they are the most popular pro league in the country. When guys go into that league, folks let them know up front they don't tolerate any foolishness and expects them to act accordingly. Heck, each rookie is REQUIRED to attend classes that deal with women, behavior, dress and so forth.
The NBA has no such setup. They're just now realizing that they need to clean up their act. The NBA now is not the NBA of the 80s. Things were much better then. These days, I can't stand to watch them.
The NFL also has a big advantage because their players have spent a three to five years in college. The majority of those players have been taught by their college coaches how to behave properly. You can't say that about NBA players these days. Over the past decade, a lot of their players have either came straight out of high school or spent only a year or two in college.
There's nothing wrong with being passionate about the game you play, but you can do that without crossing the line. Let's be frank, some of these pro players ain't got no home training whatsoever.

You know what? Some white guy on morning talk radio said that and I thought naw, dude is just saying that because the players are black. But when you put it like that I mean with no training on sportsmanship, dress and stuff and the kids fresh out of high school, it makes sense.

Exactly, sweetpie. And that's not limited to black players either.
