Barry Bonds is one of the greatest players ever and deserves to be recognized for his accomplishments. If you want to start putting asterisks next to players, start with everyone who played in an era when African-Americans were not allowed to play in the Majors.
Bonds hand-eye coordination and tireless work ethic over twenty years have made him the man he is today... just look at the stats from 2001-2004 and compare to any player in the history of The Game...period... baseball's refusal to address the supplement issue in the 90's led us to this sad state of affairs... Barry should be first-round Hall material... Selig and others can turn their backs on Bonds but he is a great ballplayer, plain and simple... and frankly, i'm not persoanlly a fan of him or the giants, but Barry, well, he's The Man...
