* 1 pound of fresh cranberries * 2 cups granulated sugar * 10 whole cloves * 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Combine everything together in a saucepan (plus just enough water to cover). All you do, then, is bring the pot to a simmer and slowly cook everything until most of the berries have popped open--this should take you about 8 to 10 minutes.
When they're done, cool them completely and stash in your refrigerator for up to a week.
