This question is for the single people:
Describe your dream proposal.
And for the married people, how did you propose or how did your husband propose to you?

Let me say this first to set it up-the man I have been seeing for some time has been attending church with me, even if it is not every Sunday. Whether or not I am sitting with him on this particular Sunday (cause I sing every Sunday early service), he slips a note to the pastor by way of an usher. Pastor waits til end of service and calls Mr so and so up to the front and says, "I understand you have some remarks to make or something to say this morning." By now I am like huh cause I am wondering what does he have to say THIS morning. Mr so and so thanks Pastor for the time and goes on to say something mushy then asks me to come stand with him. He gets down on one knee, pops the question, and I cry profusely. ;D

I was in church and I had the usher give her a note that said "Will you marry me?" she was grinning in church like a retatrded person after that! I had the ring on me and gave it to her afterwards, she sent a note back saying yes.

LOL...you all are so funny.
It was April 1, 2000 ... warm afternoon and we were sitting outside in the backyard. I was going in the house to get a cup of coffee when he asked me to please get him some of that ice cream he just bought. I opened the freezer pulled out the box of ice cream, opened it up and there looking right at me was a white velvet box. I opened it up and bang .... a ring! I went to him and he put it on my finger and asked me to marry him. Before I could say "yes" he told me that he called my parents FIRST and asked them if he could have my hand in marriage. That was 6 months into our relationship ... we got married that Sept, 2000.
