It gives me great pleasure to announce that author Anfra Boyd will be contributing inspirational messages to our forum starting in July.
Anfra Boyd is an author, poet and inspirational speaker. She started the on-line column You Are My Sister on her former job in Corporate America as a means to inspire her co-workers. Since then, the column is being read by women around the world.
She's also a novelist with two novels soon to be published and conducts workshops and speaks to women around the world. She also mentors teenagers with her inspiration and uses her home as a safe haven where teenagers come to have fun, learn, and have someone to talk to.
Anfra is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Black Writers Conference and Southern Film Festival in Memphis, TN, and the CEO of F.I.G. Publishing Co. Her messages and poetry are featured on web sites all across the Internet, and she's had articles published with several women's magazines and newsletters. She's also the founder of the on-line book club YAMS, that promotes literary entrepreneurs and the self-published community.
She has graciously agreed to contribute content for "The Ladies Room" on a bi-weekly basis starting in July. I have posted one of her messages entitled "Spiritual Beauty". It's a must read. Ladies, I'd love for us to be able to reflect on her words and discuss them as sisters.
There is also a link to her website and I encourage everyone, women as well as men, to visit her site and support our sister.
