was listening to an interesting topic on the radio this afternoon about Vaginoplasty. If you don't know what it is, its cosmetic surgery to make the vagina tighter. The doctor (Bernard Stern out of FL) stated that if you inserted 2 fingers in a virgin, they would feel snug. Those numbers increased with age and the number of children a woman has (natural birth). For a woman between the ages of 30-40 with 2 or more children the number increased to 6-8 fingers (not rolled together at all). I'm still having trouble visualizing this, but if a baby can come through, I know its possible. Kegels are great but they are limited. My question is this....Have you ever considered having such a surgery or would you consider having the surgery if your husband/mate/SO asked it? ASKED being the key word.

I heard about this too. I wouldn't be completely closed to the idea, but it's too new of a procedure right now. Maybe in a few years when more doctors have performed it successfully and IF I were in a very serious relationship I would consider it.

Absolutely not ...
Amazing what some women would go through to please a man. Don't get me wrong, I am all for pleasing my man but when he starts asking me to go under the knife just to enhance his ego ... we have a problem!

Drok9, listening to this doctors message, I don't think it was all about stroking a man's ego. I'm sure the man gets the added benefit from this procedure, but the biggest benefit may be for the woman. As the saying goes that size matters (or does it)....Well that is a two way street, but usually we only look at this issue from the viewpoint of the size of the man. Our size plays a part in that equation too. I have thought about it, but I've always thought about it from the standpoint of increasing MY pleasure. If he benefits from that, that's great, but that wouldn't be the ultimate goal in undergoing this procedure.

You said if my husband "asked" me to do it ... I understand that as the one "asking" is the one who will "benefit" from it. If I "wanted" to have it done for my own personal reasons than I would be the one to "benefit" from it.
But maybe I'm wrong..

I guess I'm just the kind of person who would be down for anything for the sake of good sex. But nothing is right for everyone.
