OK, so this is the reverse of the "out of my league" post. Have you ever stood by a man while he was locked up? How long did you do it for if you did? How did the relationship turn out?
Before I tell my little story, I'll wait for other responses. ;D

never dated anyone while he was locked up I really dont think I could "wait" for someone...depending on how long he would be gone and what he did. I dont know. My neighbor has so called waited on her "man," but she sho was messing around while they were locked up. One guy had the nerve to threaten her by telling her she better not be doing anything with anyone else. How u gonna regulate from jail?

Unfortunately yes I stood by my high school sweetheart through drug abuse and jail. The final straw was when I found out that he had a baby by some girl and she was putting money on his books.
As I type this I CANNOT believe I was this dumb! Dang!

Well, I was dating this guy and one day he was no where to be found. Long story, short...he had gotten arrested. Well his best friend and I got enough money to bail him out. Apparently, some white girl had accused him of raping her. He was a bouncer at a night club and his story was that he gave her a ride home one night, she came onto him, and when he turned her down, she got pissed off. Back in the day, I was so full of myself, I thought it was a joke that he would want anyone else when he had me so I "stood by my man". Let's just say I should have dumped his ass.

Well we've all at one time or another have been a little silly over a guy. Yes, it was a constant he would be out and would get arrested either doing drugs or trying to sell it or just being in the wrong place at the right time. The first time he "disappeared" I didn't find out what happened to him for a few weeks. Other times I would try to borrow money from my family to get him out. In fact, when I left he was in jail at that time. He was worthless.

I have gone through a long line of worthless men...the stories I could tell. I don't know what was going through my mind at the time. But like you said sweetpie, we've all been silly at some point.
