to you. I guess one of these days, that will finally sink in. case in point... one of our delivery drivers, the last time I saw him, which was months ago, I spoke to him but he acted like I was shyt on a stick/he didnt bother to even half speak. Thjs morning, he came in, spoke to everybody and I realized it wasnt our regular driver. I turned to see who it was, saw him and rolled my eyes at him. Okay...WHY did homeboy tell my g/f .."she knows what she is doing by ignoring me," runs back to my desk, where I am sitting with my back turned to everybody and KISSES ME HARD ON THE CHEEK? My girlfriend fell out laughing and said, "see, when you ignore a man and treat HIM like dirt, he pays attention to you."

I have to agree. Ignoring a man and/or treating him like shyt seems to have the reverse effect. Especially if it’s a man who really thinks he’s got it going on. I know someone who tells me ALL THE TIME that he can have anyone he wants. YET, he still keeps inviting himself to my crib…begging. I don’t get it.

Another case and point…I just got a call from the front lobby receptionist. My son’s father was in the lobby. Now I ask you, if someone had called you a worthless human being, would you show up at their job less than 24 hours later for ANY reason?
Maybe if I started being nice to people they would leave me the phuck alone.

“To hold it up”...I see we still think alike because that was the FIRST thought that popped into my head. Then he said that his car was on empty and he hoped that he can make it. I said I hope so too, gave him directions, then got in the elevator and when back to my desk.

I TOLD YOU, he was trying to be pitiful and garner some sympathy. He had to come all the way to your job and tell you all of that, AFTER getting laid out by you? that is pitiful on so many levels too

I said I hope so too, gave him directions, then got in the elevator and when back to my desk. Maybe he wanted to borrow some gas money! LOL I dunno - I guess there are just cats out there who like the type of woman who give them the "thrill of the hunt"/ "play hard to get"/ sadomasochistic "I don't mind if she throws hot grits in my face...it makes our relationship more exciting!" thang. I'm glad my husband is not one of these. LOL
