I heard something very similar recently:
"You must want a man who is gonna treat you like shit"

I’m wondering if any of those lines EVER worked. Like are we suppose to hear this mess and go "Hmmm, wait a minute, maybe I just imagened being unhappy, I better hold on to this guy". Pul-ease!
