When was the last time you had a family reunion? Did it go well? How often do you have them?

I opted out of mines because when all the generations get together it is just conflict.

We stop having reunions and gatherings too because of the drama. It's too bad.

Family reunions are always a little weird for me, because I usually have two back to back. My nuclear family only gets back to the mid-west about every four to five years. So, when that time comes around, everyone comes from all over to see us. We generally spend one week in Chicago with my dad's family and one week in Ohio with my mom's family. This Christmas, we're going to do it again. Neither side of my family ever has any drama. We see each other too rarely to waste time with that nonsense. Although, this time I'm going to take some serious heat from my cousin for missing her wedding last year. But, to me... she's still baby Ebony. I aint skurred.

My mama's side get together every year at different times
My daddy's side used to get together on the second Sunday in August every year, but my daddy and his siblings have fallen out since my grandparents' deaths over the land. So now, we do nothing.
