In my dream I walked down a dark street... No lights, no life, and no hope, I felt incomplete!
As I continued on this ebony path I felt sick It was like evil showed up to play a trick
I turn to face an adversary that wasn't there The hair on my neck stood at attention, what a scare
Only a dream...but I was walking down a dark street I saw a building at the end of the block, man I was beat
This building was dark, but light was inside of it Evil bats flew around it's roof, I was scared as shhhh
As I approached the building, I felt fearless and strong But bat's turned toward me like I did something wrong
I voice said come in! I grabbed the door! But a sexy female said "I'll be your whore!"
I was torn, do I choose darkness, or Light I feel so weak, like I'd been in a fight
I cracked the door and the light filled my soul! The sexy bat let go, and now I was in control
I ran in the building and I did awaken But what really happen had me so shaken
The Spirit of God spoke to me quick and stern, Said that bat wanted you bad so your soul would burn!
That wasn't a dream as you thought, It was a battle for your soul, the Holy Spirit fought.
You see the house was YOU, dark on the outside, But the light was my Spirit in you He does abide!
Without His strength you would have fallen, Cause that sexy bat would have had you crawlin! The Panther
