Why do people practice religion?
Is it because they feel like whatever doctrine or system they choose helps them become a overall better person, or because they are afraid of going to hell?

I think religion is a systematic formula that men use to define God, Relationship is defined by the willingness of both parties (Gad and man) to learn of each other and love each other. God is bigger than ANY building or set of man made rules.

I believe in the Doctrine of Scripture (Bible) but I believe the man made control over peoples minds and hearts is NOT of God, Ministries should point people to a relationship with the Lord, not a idolizing the men and women in ministry. There is TOO much celebrity in todays church, we must celebrate Jesus....NOT the pastors!
Read Jeremiah 33:3 and Psalm 120:1 when you get a chance!
