Where are you on your spiritual journey and how did you get there. Did you parents instill their religious beliefs in you?
When did you accept your higher power?
If you are not a religious person, how do you deal with people who try to push their faith on you? Are you offended by some of the things they say? Do you ignore their comments?

My mom was instrumental because she instilled in me a love for the Bible and Jesus more than a love for the church, she was scorned by church because she had me out of wedlock, but she always taught me to seek God for myself.

God, Jesus, the church and religion were instilled by my parents at a young age. A lot of confusion along the way----I left my home church because the minister that was there at the time acted like I committed a major crime by having my youngest son out of wedlock...Karma...his daughter had a child out of wedlock years later. more confusion-I see so much junk going on in churches and from so-called "religious" people. I know that the bad and good will be with us always but I struggle with the mean/bad/hateful people "profiting/getting ahead/getting over" while the ones who try to do good get stepped on, used and abused.
