FIRST OF ALL, I get tired of you telling me to "cool my jets," when I ask you something or give my opinion. Secondly, you didnt answer your own original question..what did all of them have in common? You didnt say if I was right or wrong.

Like I said God is no fool. He is full of mercy when your heart is sincere. When you want to do what is pleasing to God you try to "correct" the sin that seperates you from God. Just like a parent and a child ... if my kid continues to steal cookies from the jar and lie when I ask you don't think he knows that the act of stealing and lie is wrong? Should I have mercy on him EVERYTIME he does it? No! After the 2nd 3rd time get ready for a whippin! Just like a husband and a wife ... if my husband continues to cheat on me you think I should have mercy on him every time just because he tells me he is sorry. If you are truly sorry you don't keep doing it. If you are not truly sorry and you don't believe that there are consequences than its only natural that you continue to repeat the same sin over and over. Whatever the relationship .. it becomes strained and you seperate ... with repeated sin you begin to appear as though you really do not care or want to do good. Same thing with God. There are consequences for sin ... God does not like to see us sin because it seperates us further and further from Him. When you truly know that when you sin, you are carelessly crucifying Jesus Christ all over again, then you should not sin. "If you all me, my Commandments keep. Neither do I condemn you: GO, AND SIN NO MORE. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that you all should obey it in the lusts thereof." John 14:15; 8:11; Romans 6:12 The question is if you know that it is wrong then why keep doing it? it is like you don't care, and your using God's forgiveness as a crutch. Seriously, come on .... you don't think God knows when we are using his forgiveness as a crutch?

Thank you, Mrs Drok...that is part of my point...abusing the ability when you/we do the same thing(s) over and over and over and using the "ability" or the Bible as it were, as a crutch, then within the same breath, do the wrong(s) again...vicious cycle/circle. And we know it isnt about being perfect and without sin, it is the sincerity like u said.

You didnt say if I was right or wrong. Look I am NOT trying to argue with, I get enough of that at home! I tried to answer your question, obviously I didn't...sorry, I tried! My point was simply NO HUMAN can fathom the depths of God's MERCY! Our sense of mercy is A LOT less than God's...I am glad God is not a HUMAN because we would ALL be in trouble!

I am not trying to argue, either. I understood your point but I was just saying that u didnt say whether or not MY answer to YOUR ORIGINAL question was correct or not. Yes I am glad GOD"s mercy isnt like man either, as well as HIS justice. I SURELY won't belabor that part. ;D
