This thread is the opposite of prayer requests. This is a thread dedicated to prayers for other people.
I'd like to start by asking God to give strength to a young mother who works for my company who just lost her 5 year old son sudddenly.
Love is stronger than death.
So I must be content to know that
love is not affected by death--
it doesn't end, it doesn't diminish,
it doesn't change.
Instead, love is immortalized
and eternalized through death.
And the possibility of that love ever
being damaged or broken
is eliminated forever.
I'll put my trust in love.

Today has not been a good day at my company. One of the managers just had a heart attack.
I pray that he is ok and makes a full recovery.

Prayers going up. So sorry to hear about the mother's loss. What happened? How is the guy who had the heart attack?

Drok, I don't know her personally, but from what I understand, it was a heart related problem that caused her son's death. She went to wake him up and found him in his bed not breathing.
The wake is tonight, but being that I never met her. I am sending a personal note and sympathy card to a box that has been set up for her and her family.
The manager that had the heart attack is still in the hospital, but has talked to several of the other managers and sent a message to everyone this morning that he's glad to be alive!
Amen to that.

My son's Assistant Teacher passed away. I pray for her family and friends.  |

Today I pray and ask God to touch my son and help him to get better. We had to postpone his surgery because he is sick. H is having such a tough day. I ask that he is renewed and made better very soon.
I also want to say a prayer for a friend who's grandmother is ailing. I pray that she has a speedy recovery and that the family stays strong.
I ask for these things in the name of Jesus.
Amen.
