I can't stand BET anymore, NO NEWS! NO INFORMATION! NO EDUCATION! It is now the CRUNK Channel! Why can't we compete with CNN and FOX??? Remember when BET HAD NEWS??!??! Am I alone on this one?

I can't remember the last time I watched anything on BET. It's all a big glorification of everything I dislike.

I am tired of Black people playing into the stereotypes the white media employ to keep us "enslaved" in ignorance. If I see one more brother with his pants on the crack of his ass I'll SCREAM!

We are not a force to be reckoned with... the hip hop generation THINK they are because of the revenue that they generate. What do they do with the money? Make ANOTHER clothing line, write a book called "I am not a Role Model", Buy gawdy homes with gold fixtures... that they eventually can't keep. Throw ANOTHER party with Cristal as the official drink. Bottom line is we don't come together for the good of us. It's always I ain't got nuttin to do with them, let them do what they want to do... we all work individually. We don't get anywhere that way!!! The Latinos are surpassing our collective azzes and there isn't anything that we are doing about it on our end. Black America is being used as we always have throughout history! U.S. just throws us a bone to keep us quiet and we fall for it everytime... just sprinkle it with some on tap dancing and breaking into song. Now don't get me wrong I love music, I love to dance, I love to watch people dance. In some instances enough is enough! You know Oprah used to irk me until... she began to open those schools for girls. I was like... finally she is doing something to help her kind.

I watched B.E.T., in the early years, Donny Simpson, and that other chick. i never watched for the news but did like, Tavis Smiley show, to me it was an Updated verson of Tony Browns Journal. I don't buy or support anything I reckonise as GARBAGE!!!, thats movies Tv, shows and music. BET has been garbage for YEARS, but since white people love ganster Rap, Via Com, decided to buy it, and market it, as Black entertainment . Like porn, these large Corporation, sell sex and drugs to our kids, as a easy way of life, reguardless of the consequences!!!. I have no problem, with adults enjoying adult things, but never ever, thought it would get this bad. And I'm a day one Prince FAN. When he use to cross dress, but the songs at that time, were so good, you just couldn't ignore him. I got rid of the digital cable because , I couldn't see spending 135.00 a month, to watch maybe ten channels, of JUNK, or rehashed JUNK. I did miss the Sapranos, Sex and The City, and Bill Mahr, Chris Rock show, (which Dave Chapelle stole from!!). I wish we could only pay for the Channels, we watched, because , believe me, i'm paying 95 a month for cable and computer hook-up. I believe i only watch maybe five channels USA, PBS, History, discovery channel. Animal Planet, and whatever channel Football and basketball is on. If parents would be parents, and put a block on bet and MTV, they would quickly change there line up!!!!!.
