No, Phillip Bailey is first then Eddie Kendricks then Prince after a few others. Prince is good don't get me wrong. But when it comes to falsetto I don't think of him as first.

Eddie Kendricks set the standard.
Notice how so many of the groups of the 70s had a falsetto singer? They were ALL trying to be like Eddie, and NONE of them came close.
