Titans Want Haynesworth To Refund Bonus
4 WSMV Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans have asked Albert Haynesworth to return some of his bonus money since the defensive tackle won't be playing in five games during his unprecedented suspension for stomping on Dallas center Andre Gurode's face.
The Titans sent written notice to Haynesworth's agent and the NFL Players Association asking for a percentage of his bonus equivalent to the five games he will miss starting Sunday. Haynesworth already is losing $190,000 in his paychecks for the suspension.
"We received written notification that he was in default of his contract," Haynesworth's agent, Chad Speck, said Friday. "I actually received that today."
Speck said he is waiting for another letter from the Titans detailing what they want back.
The five-year veteran has apologized for scraping his cleat across Gurode's face last weekend in a 45-14 victory over Dallas, leaving the center needing 30 stitches to close seven cuts. He apologized again at a news conference Thursday where he promised he will be counseled for his on-field anger.

What a fool! He coulda put that guy's eye out! He better get into anger management classes or he's not gonna have any money left. He needs a more constructive not destructive way to express himself. Those anger flares will cost him things that he may actually want or in some cases need.
