First of all I want to go on record as saying that I hate the words "unplanned pregnancy". Outside of abstinence, there is ALWAYS a chance of conceiving a child when two people engage in sex.
Now, that being said, if a pregnant woman can choose among abortion, adoption or raising a child, should the man involved in an "unintended pregnancy" have the choice of declining the financial responsibilities of fatherhood?
Believe it or not, men's rights activists are mounting a legal campaign aimed at giving men the chance to opt out of financial responsibility for raising a child.

I heard about this....and I think they were applying it to certain situations.
One case in court involves a formal agreement between the man and the woman. They agreed the man doesn't have to be in his kid's life nor pay child support. She later changed her mind and wants him to pay up. That's why there is the court case.
I say why not? Some women lie. Some say they can't get pregnant, but BAM! She ends up pregnant.

It will not pass, because, governments are tired of paying the bills of two IGNORANT people. My beef is no matter, how the baby was made, it's here, and unless you are gonna put it up for adoption, you MUST PAY. PERIOD!!!, this is a weak arguement, even if the women TRICKS you!!! it's still your child!!!. You can't play by the rules, get the hell out the coochy!!!........ NOW!!!

This is just so sad to me. Why do we always seem to forget about the innocent ones?
If you bring a child into this world whether you wanted the baby or not, it is your responsibility to support that child financially. Come on people!!!!
This negative stereotype is why some men think its okay to walk away from their responsibility.
You can walk away, dispute, bicker and complain but in the end ... that baby still needs to eat. We have lost a "connection" with life in this area.

That really is an unrealistic and stupid agreement...
Him believing that he will have nothing to do with the child and she thinking she can raise the child without any support. If you engage in sexual activity with a female you must be able to prove that you are not the father in order to get out of it that's it. A man knows of the great possibility of a child showing up whether he wants it or not.
Now involving the guy with the case I don't know what to say there. I mean she said yeah I'll deal with it and then changed her mind which is unfortunate but sorry for the bud he should pay because that kid should not have to do without. I know! He could quit his job everytime she finds out his employment! Oh wait, that is not new... I had an ex that would do that same thing years ago. He ended up being a no good ------ f-----..... woh sorry I was there for a minute. My Post Traumatic Syndrome is ackin' up.
I told my hubby about this he said dude needs to pay cuz he was stupid. plain and simple.
