Inquiring minds wanna know......
~ Is it any truth to the saying that men are intimidated by smart, educated women?
~ Does an educated woman come off to strong?
~ Is it easier to approach someone who is less educated?
~ If a female makes more money than you would you still talk to her or would it feel like she is more superior than you?

I think WEAK men have always be intimidated, by intelligence period. But as far as your question is concerned, I thank that would depend on what type of men, you like!!. I mean if this highly educated women liked athletic men, the chances of her finding her equal, is not necessarily high, where if she likes doctors, school teachers, well learned men, her chances are higher that some one would be her mental equal, but having said that, looks also make a very important statement too, and very intelligent women seem to always skirt around that issue, when thats pointed out to them. When i ask a women out, I try to never change up, by that I mean, I'm always me, therefore you should be able to tell, if I'm gonna make it to second base, by the end of my second sentence. If there is already an attraction between the two of us, we can skipped the dramatic stuff and just ask questions of one or another, be they romantic, or just finding what the two of us have in common. As far as the more money thing, I have never met a women, that I have dated, that made more money then me. So I couldn't give you that honest answer, based on experience that you would want, but basically, i have no problem with it. Can a women come across too strong, thats a trick question for men because it all depends on how much we want her, so if she came off too strong, I would let her know first, and if she kept it up. the date or evening would be over fast. when i mean strong I'm talking about rude, and uninterested, in what i have to say!!!, now if I'm not saying anything, thats another story

~ Is it any truth to the saying that men are intimidated by smart, educated women? I am not intimidated, mostly am impressed, and admiring
~ Does an educated woman come off to strong? Depends on the woman, her personality, not her education, her personality
~ Is it easier to approach someone who is less educated? It's not easy for me to approach anyone whether educated or not
~ If a female makes more money than you would you still talk to her or would it feel like she is more superior than you? Again depends on the female her personality what she wants to come across as

I'm gonna be very blunt about this.
~ Is it any truth to the saying that men are intimidated by smart, educated women? The majority of men are NOT intimidated. Some of yall watch/listen to too much Oprah, Iyanla, The View, etc.
~ Does an educated woman come off too strong? Only if she's being an ARROGANT ASS.
~ Is it easier to approach someone who is less educated? Not necessarily. It's all about how one projects herself/himself to the world. Cranky attitudes will keep people away from you, no matter how much you make.
~ If a female makes more money than you would you still talk to her or would it feel like she is more superior than you?[/quote] People have their preferences, but to most guys, I don't think it's an issue. Again, if she's being a complete ASS/BITCH about her status, what man in her right mind will want to be with her? Arrogance is a huge turnoff.

Sinceer, just like with everything else, this does apply to some men, but not to others.

When I was in college my boyfriend tried to talk me out of finishing school. He wasn't supportive and he said that I didn't have enough time for him. I believe he felt this was because he was intimidated by my education. We aren't together anymore so I know I made the right choice.
