Not at all. . .If you aren't Black.
So far the crap I've seen and experienced has been on a school campus.
I'm tempted to say that means that there isn't that large of a problem, but considering that what I've observed over these few weeks is just like what women have been saying they've been experiencing in their areas, are things really that bad?
It's a question that makes me go HMMMMMM.
Maybe I've just been lucky.

Call us hard if you want to, but we are just relating to what we see or experienced and furthermore, if YOU aren't "guilty," then don't worry about it. ;D

I'm just amazed. Must be the D.C./Richmond mentality rubbing off on folks there.

BrotherB, there are a lot of brothers (difference between a lot and plenty) in my area but a LOT of them want the keeblers or are just downright rude and disrespectful. What is wrong with Blaque or any other woman asking YOU a simple question? Y'all get your Hanes in a dayum wad too much

Must not be a lot of brothers where yall are................and are labeling us But it is about you. It’s about all men. Unless a man is trying to get my phone number or whatever more often than not they don’t do much to show that they are gentleman. I am always lifting my son’s wheelchair in and out of my truck. Oddly enough, they only men who ever often to help me are white men. I even had a brother try to get the digits as I was toting a crib mattress into a Good Well store. Did he offer to help me? No!!! But he had the nerve to ask for my number. So Brother B, if you are doing these good deeds for strangers (it doesn’t count if you are talking about your girlfriend) than please keep doing them. Not enough brothers do those kinds of things unless they are trying pick up a woman.

No, not JUST talking about the girlfriend who I kicked to the curb. Funny how you like to assume things EvilLois. Blaque, I'm sorry YOU had to experience such lack of manners. That's unacceptable in my book. I think EvilLois deserves some of it. You know how MEAN she is. I do the chivalry thing because my daddy drilled it into my head. However there are times when I am in the process of doing a good deed for a woman and she hollers out "I got it, thank you." Sometimes there is no "thank you." Experience has taught me to not bother with those women because they make a big fuss out of it.

Yeah, it's bad. I live in Chicago. I went to Home Depot and I asked a brotha where their safe boxes were...he said back there, when I didn't see it with all that stuff crammed up there, he finally walked back. He had the nerve to ask me did I want the box that was open, and I said, No Brotha, I would like an unopened one, please. He had to dig and get it out, mind you it was only like 8lbs. He finally gets it down, and stood there. And I said, "Can you please put it in the cart for me?" and gave him a sweet smile, and he looked at me exasperated and said, Man, you can put it in the cart, but he went on and did it, and the cart was less than a foot away. I just laughed it off lightly and said, Thank you, I appreciate it. *smile* I have weak bones". (the truth) And he just kind of smiled it off. I mean, DAMN.
