::)This show is absolutely unbelievable...
I watched yet another parade of 20 - 50 somethings getting caught propositioning what they thought was a 13 year girl online in a sting to catch them. 13 must be the magic number. Instantly when they saw the host approach them they would deny everything, even though they had beer, wine coolers and condoms. They had families, they were computer programmers, supervisors, doctors, I mean they had a lot to lose but took that chance to possibly have sex with an underage girl.
The lives of these men will never be the same, wives embarrassed and bucking for a divorce, loss of jobs, jail time, face on national t.v. and labeled a sex offender.
The upside is he got his 15 minutes of fame!
After awhile it was borderline funny. Most of these men were of Latino, Indian, Samoan, and caucasian descent. I don't' know why there weren't many brothas included maybe no access to a computer or they are into other perversions but this is an epidemic of HUGE proportions. Not one of these men knew why they showed up at the door, even though their sixth sense was buzzing. Only one admitted that he had a problem and spoke about wrestling the addiction. He was the only one I had sympathy for. When the doctor was caught he was squawkin' like a bytch because he knew he was gonna lose his family, his reputation AND his livelyhood.
There was even one white man there to have sex with what he thought was a teenage boy.
Next week they are going to show the rest of the fools they had caught... damm.
All in all, I was sickened by the fact that no one's child is safe even from the neighbor.

A few brothers got caught in Georgia on Dateline.....they were ministers and deacons.
A lot of brothers who do that stuff don't use the computer....they use phones and cell phones.
And you wonder why so many high school and some junior high girls have adult boyfriends.

So many young girls have adult lovers.
I saw stats on abortion clinics that showed that a majority of our teens who go in for the procedure are in relationships that the law defines as statatury rape. So while we might be tempted to breath a sigh of relief when there isn't a hoard of Black men entering the Dateline houses, we must remember that doesn't mean this issue isn't epidemic in our own communities.
One thing that I don't like about the show is that they seem to sensationalize a bit. Like by showing pixelized images of dicks. Is that necessary?
If you want to increase ratings by adding shock value, I suppose.
And I don't like how they give away the law enforcement's secrets. Like telling the guys to bring a gift to strengthen a case.
I don't think they should air that.
But I love the show in that I think it has the potential to decrease predators hunting for children online. And if it doesn't, which it might not since we see many of the men were acquainted with the show, the lack of results strengthens the case for legal reform.
More aggressive patroling. Increased sentences. So on.

I'm mixed on this show because, it does show, how far people will go. But doesn't show a complete picture, of pedophilia. It's like a SAD REALITY SHOW, with the stars, being monsters, being caught. I also notice , NO WOMEN. I know women are more careful about there discretions!!!, but still, they are out there!!! What about gay sexual predators? they show men(straight mostly), no women. As for the question, why, not that many Black men. I think it's a two fold question. One, for some reason, WE and whites think our kids grow up faster, then other cultures, and don't push the issue as much as whites. Two; the Black men I know, that do have computers, are on sports, gambling, and porn sites!!. This of course does not exclude them from, pedophilia. Also I want people to understand, just because your life seems balanced, doesn't mean everybody Else's is. So keep some type of Boundaries around your kids and or young family members. if you really care about them!!!.

We must understand that girls do lust after older guys due to their maturity level. She is STILL a child no matter what she THINKS she knows. She doesn't understand that what she has is precious and fleeting. She doesn't understand that her body will be used for one thing and when she is REALLY ready for life to begin it will be behind the eight ball. She will have issues as well as early bitterness. The promises a man gives her means nothing. We look to the adult male to have the responsibility to say no to her, but he doesn't, he is still a teenager in an adult body. Notice the older he gets the woman he lusts after NEVER changes.
Now I wonder... WHO is supposed to be the leader? Life is full of temptations, ups and downs. Lord knows I've done stuff I shouldn't have done... but when it involves a child, damm the line has got to be drawn.
Now as with women preying on males, I watched the teacher that got caught messing around with her student. It ended up that she had some sort of disorder and that she actually thought of this child as her peer. But she had successfully destroyed her career, credibility and is labeled a sex offender. Well... she got HER 15 minutes of fame!
I am going to get sliced and diced for this but... how many young males come away from the experience feeling traumatized when approached by a woman especially if it is not forcible rape? My point is he comes away with either a good feeling about it or not... that's it. I actually cannot see how a man can get it up when he is held at gunpoint or ganged upon but what do I know I'm not a man. A woman comes away with much more and in most cases baby in tow or the memories of an abortion that she really should not have had to go thru.
Who is REALLY getting jacked here?

I agree with your statement, But a GAY MALE child could be traumatized. I think a law,* Federal Law* should be enacted that would allow children under 18, to make small mistakes, sexual missteps, with counseling, exceptions, rape of any kind. I would have loved a couple of my female teachers, to have taught me,............. how to LOVE

Now hold on here, missy.... Forcible rape and statuatory rape are two different things here. The former is done by force and the latter is willingly done with or without the knowledge of the age of the teen. It's comparing apples and oranges. Another thing: You're saying young men come away feeling good and young women don't? True, many teen (and adult) women say how hurtful their first time was, but many teen women carry on sexual relations with grown azz men, sometimes with the parents' knowledge, sometimes without. Apparently SOMETHING is makign them feel good. Yes, what's going on is wrong, but the teens are at an age where they DO know right from wrong. And we all know many of these girls aren't being FORCED to do it. Let's give the teens some credit here. They're the ones who are chatting/talking with these folks and are helping plan the get-togethers. A lot of these kids are pretty smart and know what they are doing. Lastly, I agree with dolphin. There's been sooooooooooooo much focus on the men when we're sort of dismissing the fact that women do this as well. We give all sorts of excuses for the women when they get caught, but want to kill the man or cut his dick and balls off when they get caught. Does Debra "She's Too Pretty For Prison" Lefavre ring a bell for some of yall?

Alright I see your points, excuse me for mixing forcible and statutory rape, I do realize there is a difference. Yes, some children have some experience and some knowledge of sex and relationships BUT... my point is that without living a few years away from these incidences they are still not experienced enough to be able to look back and understand that it was wrong and that dude was taking advantage of her naivete. I'm sorry but to me these TEENS are in no way smarter than a seasoned woman. You are trying to say that they know deep down what is actually going on. She may believe that she is getting over to get whatever bauble that she is looking for, but believe you me there is more thats happening to her than meets the eye. As a teen myself I didn't fall for those promises dude said to get me to do things, I had to go home to my mother... she was my motivating force to keep out of that situation. My mom didn't pull any punches and I mean that literally, she didn't play, she had two teenage girls to deal with.
There are too many issues that men get away with so to me finally coming down on men about some of the issues is about high time.
Okay what is up with the white house dude that RECENTLY quit because his shenanigans were beginining to get hot? Now he was harrassing boys, is this different? Why wasn't he taken down before?
I'll be back gotta go...

Look where he's at: Washington.
The powers at be can pretty much do with they want, until the situation gets too hot to handle or they do something and get busted.
With Foley, they knew, but swept it under the rug and kept it hush-hush until he got out of control. Then they had to deal with it.
But we all know Washington and the rest of the country are worlds apart when it comes to justice..

I caught the last part of this week's episode with the doctor. He called his wife to come bail him out and said he was caught in a sting he did something stupid. He kept insisting to the police that he didn't do anything.. well he didn't they to bust him because he was walking around. Of course they spoke Foley not too much though. Damm, all of the this sex shyt has got me worn out and killing kids in the news is just F--kd up. Whew I'm out.
