and/because they were in the hospital with a serious illness (I saw this on a TV show last night), would you go to see them? would you offer any assistance to them? Yes or no? You can give reasons why you would or wouldn't go. *doesnt matter how long ago the breakup was or if it was friendly or not*

Honestly, probably not. My son’s father reached out to me when he broke his leg because he didn’t have anyone else to help him. That was several months ago and I have yet to go see him. I am just getting to the point in my life where I am tired of men who need something from me. When I need something, someone to listen, a shoulder to cry on, or whatever, I have no one but myself. So no. I doubt that I would go running to an ex who was in the hospital. I may offer words of encouragement. I would say a prayer for him, but that’s it.

Unlikely. There's a reason they are an ex.
I don't have time to hear them apologizing for bad behavior and how they wish things worked out. That's exactly what they will be up to.

MsB, I understand BB, yeah, people are ex'es for a reason but there are some exes who get along/stay up each other's etc.... I agree with you when you say they are probably going to try to apologize and such. TOO LATE! and this may sound petty, but I would be quick to tell them, "call your family," or worse, "call ya ho."

I really don't have any bad exe's in the area, so it depends on the illness (death coming soon type stuff), other then that, send them a Hallmark.

I wouldn't rule out going to see an ex-boyfriend in the hospital.

I haven't gotten to this part in my healing yet...I'd probably pull the plug on his trife ass. Lord Forgive me for the hate that I have in my heart for this man. I hope that You will help me get over it soon. But as it stands now, I wouldn't piss on that negro if he was on fire
