Sometimes my bil and sil are invited to hang with his boys from college. They are all married. My sil never wants to go cause basically their wives are cliquish bitches. They are phony and unfriendly. Ive seen this first hand how they are at a gathering we were all at. They sit around the table with their noses in the air not socializing with anyone other than themselves. When you try to engage them they give one word answers and act snooty.
FELLAS, would it bother you if you wife/girl was like these women? What if that kind of behavior inhibited your friend's ability to hang out with yall, when its a family event where the wives are expected to participate also.? Would you address your chick's/wife's rude ignorant behavior or would you let chicks settle chick shit?
Im just wondering how men handle stuff like this. Im saying, these chicks are probalby nasty bitches in other areas of their lives, you dont keep that kind of attitude locked down and special. snooty bitches usually like to share the joy. would you consider this a character flaw in your woman that she behaves this way? Would that exclude her from being a possible mate if she treated your friends wives/girls rudely?

Whether if me and a woman was in the early stages of a relationship or we have been dating for several months, I'd pull her to the side at the gathering or wait until I took her home and give her a stern warning to check her attitude.
If she doesn't change her attitude, I would SERIOUSLY rethink our relationship. I don't like snooty/uppity/bougie folks. Those folks are negative and can ruin an otherwise good time, plus I would be looked at negatively as well, despite me not engaging in such behavior.

Goddess, that is a good question that you brought up and I wanted to wait for at least one man to answer before I gave my two cents.
Why do those types of women always seem to have a man?
It’s cool that Brother B said that he would have to re-think the relationship.
But I can’t help but think that if a woman was satisfying her man and was good to him, he wouldn’t care if she was a bytch to other women. I’ve seen it too many times.

I do tend to agree with you that men tend to let their women work this thing out for themselves, but everytime you get invited for a family activity, your woman doesnt want to go because of it, and it was explained to the fellas why he couldnt attend or didnt want to attend, it may become an issue for them. But thats a woman thinking, lol.

Because they put on a good mask and act like Miss Goody-Two-Shoes in the early stages. When she thinks she and he are on a good enough level as far as their relationship goes, the real her comes out. You may think a lot of us don't care, but we do care about stuff like that. Just like women, men want to project a good/positive image of themselves too. If his woman is acting all bitchy and ugly around folks, word will get back to him and he likely will get crazy looks too when he is out alone or with his woman. Most of us don't want to be seen in that manner, no matter how good the pussy is and how she does things.

A player doesn’t care what his woman is doing or not doing. But I don’t think a man who was otherwise committed to his woman would leave a woman solely because she was unkind to other women.

Brother B, I hear what you are saying. And if that's the way a lot of men feel then I guess I don't give you guys enough credit.

A player DOES care what his woman is doing or says, especially if HE thinks it makes HIM look bad...believe me. But sometimes he takes it overboard about something totally innocent (another story for another time) Now when you say a COMMITTED man probably wouldnt leave his woman because of how she acted towards other women but then again, it depends on his tolerance level. Some men can "overlook" things better than others.

Trust me, it will become an issue because his boys and his family will begin to go off on him saying how bitchy his woman is, how she is running things...even saying he needs to cut her loose.

I guess, but I have NEVER witnessed or experienced an occasion where a man didn't take his woman's side over his family and friends. But I guess anything is possible.

But I guess anything is possible. if he is smart, kind, and compassionate you will never see a man take his woman to task in front of other people . That doesnt mean he isnt doing it. No man wants conflict around his woman all the time. Her snootyness often invade other aspects of their life. Especially if she is showing her ass to the women in his family, he will DEFINATELY catch flack.

True dat...he may not "check her" in front of people but depending onwhat type of person he is, he will check her later, but like I said, sometimes what he thinks is offensive really is not.
