This coworker/friend of mine really gripes my azz and a couple of weeks ago was pretty much the last straw.
Just about everyday she asks me how to spell something, interrupting my computer play time. She used to just bust on over to my desk until I gave her "the look," enough times, so now she stands to the side and asks if she can come over.
Okay....all of us have asked her WHY she doesnt use the spellchecker on her computer? She has the nerve to say," the words they give me just dont look right." OBVIOUSLY you don't know what word you are trying to use.
Okay, a couple of weeks ago, she asked me where a certain town was in VA. I told her I had heard of it and know that a prison camp is there ;D but not where it is. I did look it up for her and found out where it is located but it is pretty much a dot on the map. She told me her husband wanted to know where this business was down there. I got the name of the place from her and googled it. Gave her the address PLUS phone number. You would think that would be enough.
NOOOOOOOO! Her azz comes back the next day and says, " Nelson said that wasnt what he was looking for." I FLEW HOT! First of all, neither you or him took the time to call the place to get directions, secondly, I took MY time to give you the info that I had found FOR YOU!
She asked me to help her again....I told her how to look it up on Google, but then when she got to mapquest, she needed help again. I vowed at the first of the year that I wouldn't be a human spellchecker and I intend to keep that, plus I won't be a human mapquest.
