Are you influenced by political ads? Does a smear campaign make you more suspicious of the person slinging the mud than their intended target? Have you ever been swayed by a powerful commercial?

No!! not at all, I go to the library of congress, and find out how they really voted . Or like I will, over the next two weeks , I will visit Blogs and see how others feel about the candidates I'm aware of. www.loc.gov/index.html <-- Library of Congress Web site !!!

It's hard not to be influenced because those ads can be brutal. I try to do a little research before I vote. Most candidates have websites with their history available.

I always keep track of who does what, whether it's in Congress, state legislature or the city council.
Usually those who always start negative ads are the ones who are trailing in the polls. It's basically a desperate move to scare voters. They really turn me off.

Never go to a politicians web site, it's only gonna talk about, the positive aspects, never a fair barometer of what the candidates really about. I used to do that, then somebody told me to check out how they voted, and I was shocked!!!!!. So I don't do it anymore. BUTTT!!!!!Do what works for you, but if you really want honest answers, find out in your state, via the web, and find out how your people voted. Then you will see if he or she is really YOUR CANDIDATE.
