I'm letting go of the negative feelings I have towards my son's father. I realize now that for reasons I don't understand at this time, it was already decided that he and I would be the parents of that beautiful little boy that we have.
If I keep holding on to resentment, I won't receive the lesson that is probably there for me to receive.
I have to let it go and accept the fact that it is what it is.

It is his loss sweetheart! I would be glad to have a son, my father made the same mistake and it took him over 30 years to realize HE MADE a mistake, but he did get it it right with me and God before he died!

My son's father is so far gone it would take a miracle for him to get it right. And whether he ever does is of no concern to me. I am letting it go and leaving it in God's hands.

When a father messes up and don't do right it is difficult to fix but first he's got to come to the realization that he did wrong. That is the big hurdle. This is what I have been dealing with.

That is true Sweetpie. My son's father keeps saying that he wants to be a better father, but has done nothing to make that happen. I'm pretty much over it.

Got some letting go to do myself...gonna take a long time... It always takes time. But allow yourself to feel whatever it is that you are feeling, get the lesson, and then let it go. (((HUGS)))
