On Jan 1st, I will start posting about my journey into Veganism. I'll post my daily food intake, I may even post my starting weight. I have to admit I am a little nervous, will I be able to stick to it?, how will it make me feel?, will I be hungry all the time?, what do I have to do? Well, I am about to find out. January 1st, I'm doing it! I am excited and a little nervous too. But I will let you know how it goes, the good, the bad and the ugly. Wish me luck.

I think the best way to go about this is to set small goals for myself AND only focus on today.
My short term goal: To loose 3 pounds by Jan. 8th
Today's Food Journal Breakfast: 2 Bananas Snack: 5 carrot sticks Lunch: 1 cup of black eyed peas & an apple Dinner: raw zucchini, sliced cucumber & grapes
Daily Mantra: No matter how much I crave it I ain't eatin' it unless it's Vegan!

Today's Food Journal Breakfast: Fresh pineapple chunks & a few cucumber slices Lunch: Sliced cucumber Snack: half a cup of mixed nuts Dinner: Salad w/ Greek dressing

Today's Food Journal Breakfast: Raw yellow squash & a fresh fruit salad Snack: 1 banana Dinner: A few strawberries, pineapple chunks and a few slices of cucumber.
I'm discovering that I REALLY love raw food. I'm not feeling deprived, or hungry. I try to eat something different every day so I don't get bored.
So far, so good.

Didn't have much of an appetite all day.
I hope that other members will begin to chart their progress with their New Year's Resolutions. Even if you fall short a few times, this clique was created so that we can support each other. I'm a member of a raw food forum. I'm already journaling my food intake on that board. So, if no one else wants to do this, the Resolutions board will be closed.
