I'd like to thank all of you who have offered to help out. I don't ask for much from my Moderators. Basically I just want you guys to help make this the best board possible.
Whenever we have new members, PLEASE make them feel welcome. It doesn't matter if they are in one of the Newbie sections. If it is a screen name that you are not familiar with, introduce yourself and let them know that we value their input. Heck, over do it if you have to. People are not going to want to return if they don't feel like they have been embraced.
It is also my hope that Moderators participate. I try to respond to everything that others post. Whether I agree or not, I don't like to see "0" replies. Help me out please.

I understand where you're coming from, Blaque. But, some thread topics just aren't of any interest to me. I always make a point of posting, if I have anything at all to say. There are whole forums I almost never go into, such as the House of Prayer (sorry, BP). You know... being a heathen and all. With the zero replies thing, that to me is a part of the nature of message boards. Sometimes a topic gets posted that nobody cares about. It's happened to me many times. But, that will happen less and less as we gather new members. The more people there are participating, the more likely that any given topic will appeal to someone. BTW, I like this idea of having a room where the moderators can talk among themselves. Very sharp, Pretty Lady.

I love it when members post, you don't have to be a Moderator or Global Moderator to do that. So, if posting is all my staff members do, then they don't really need to be Mods. I want this to be one of the best boards around, and I can't do that by myself. So, if my Mods aren't welcoming new members, trying to get new people to join, trying to get new members to return, voting for member of the month, or helping to make this an outstanding board, I will be taking away Mod status. I'd like for all of my Admins and Mods to let me know what you think about this. Thanks.

Don't quite understand but tell me if this is what you are talking about: I try my best to personally welcome new members by actually sending PM's when they join and welcoming them. I am on all hours of the nights but sometimes some members do go unnoticed if another joined after. I think voting for Member of the Month is wonderful because it makes the members feel appreciated.
