Be happy, while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth.Follow the ways of your heart and whatever you see,but know that for all these things God will bring you to judgement

Circumstances and situations do color life, but it is up to us to choose the colors!

It is not always easy to stand up for what you believe in, but the alternatives are even less acceptable.

Differences provide for new opportunities. Differences show you where you own vision is incomplete. Differences open windows into worlds other than your own.

I found one in the newspaper the other day. "Never a soul was set free, without being made to feel its slavery."

Maya Angelou - One isn't necessarily born with courage, but one is born with potential. Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can't be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest.

Reconciling After the Storm “If you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.” – Matthew 6:14 Why is it so difficult for us to forgive others? Do you really believe somebody when they say they have forgiven you but are unable to forget the indiscretion? Come on, that’s saying I’m going to forgive you because that’s what I’ve been taught but I will hold your flaw in my memory for the rest of your life. We need to return to the essence and remember that Christ came into the world to reach out to the lost souls. HIS love for us was found on the cross where he died for our sins. Yes, our sins. None of us is perfect, so who are we to hold grudges and withhold forgiveness from one another? True forgiveness can only be obtained when you have confessed honestly and asked for repentance. Only then will your sins be forgiven and your relationship with God is restored. God loves us and forgives us every time we fall. That’s not one time after we fall – it’s e-v-e-r-y-t-i-m-e. Forgiveness should not be conditional. You have to remember that each time you have done something that hurts HIM or others, he forgives you instantly. We need to realize that some of us are like meandering children in need of forgiveness. It is only when we mature that we can become like our Father, whose ultimate wish is to have all HIS children reconciled. If you can honestly say you truly love somebody, you should be able to erase their mistake and begin a new slate. It may be difficult to pick up the pieces at first but what a wonderful blessing to begin reconciling your hearts. Many times our selfish pride doesn’t allow us the opportunity to receive another’s forgiveness. A few years back, my significant other and I had an argument over what, I can’t remember. When I called to apologize to him the following morning, I was greeted by sobs from his mom and then her words saying, “TK had just passed on.” I was numbed at first and then hurt because he left me before we could reconcile our differences. So please, don’t take for granted the meaningful people God places in your lives. Tell them you love them, show them how much you appreciate them and most importantly ALWAYS ask and give true forgiveness. It’s the only way. It’s God’s way. HE has already given us the path of reconciliation as notated in 2 Corinthians 5:18. Don’t you think it is a good time to start your path of forgiveness? Have a blessed week!!!
