What is your favorite Martial Art style? Tai Chi... It is the most in line with the way of the peaceful warrior. You never hurt your opponent. Your opponent hurts himself with his own negative energy. A master of Tai Chi reflects and deflects the aggression of his opponent. Therefore, if he is injured, it was only his own aggression that defeated him. Hmmm interesting.

So, you're saying that righteousness on Earth or anywhere in humanity did not exist before Jesus? I find that impossible to believe.
But then... that's why I don't take the Bible very seriously.
Oh yes there was righteousness, there were instructions then... the Old Testament. I am saying that he came here as a man to show how it should be done.
Yes. But, by that same reasoning... what makes the Bible different from the Koran, The Teachings of Buddha, The Baghvad Gita, or the Tao Te Ching?
To be honest I don't know too much about these other books.
I believe that a person can exist in anyway and still be "like him in the things we do". There is no part of this existence that is not of God.
But there is an existence that is not like God.
Besides, the word "tarnished" is highly subjective.
How is it highly subjective because you don't agree with a certain set of rules?
I think you should know before we go any further...
If you insist on continuing this line of reasoning, I'm going to insist that you define "evil".
Doing morally bad things...
Why?
The physical body is nourished in many different ways. Food, water, sunlight, exercise, study, and even sex... are all nourishing to the body in different ways. Is it not the same body then?
The bible encourages you to live in the world but not of it. Everything has been made by God and some things, acts, attitudes are distinguished to be better than others.
Why should the ways in which nourishment is obtained create division where there need not be?
The division is about the sacrifice he made, he sacrificed himself to give us salvation. We have to do things that sends praises to him certain sacrifies also. We must remember him.
No... you said you were picking on gays. I was just agreeing with you.
I meant that I used them because they were the best example of what I was alluding to.
I disagree. It's not the way to have children, but I don't see how it has anything to do with making a family. Having children and making families are not the same thing. That's why there are families without children, and children without families.
Yes children will come no matter if marriage is involved or not but one must do the things in the right way for the union to be blessed. When things are done in the manner he encourages the things you need come to you. If not, the road in life is harder. Happiness is not guaranteed. Don't you think having a child is more involved for a couple of same sex? For one you have involve another person that is outside of the relationship and happiness for the child is not guaranteed because he has to deal with this different nuclear family.
With regards to childless families there is a reason for everything but one must be faithful, pray no matter how long it takes. He will bless you if you stay faithful and praise him.
So because it's impossible for two people of the same sex to have children... the relationship is destined to fail?
No, the relationship will exist but the things that you expect in your life will not manifest itself.
I don't buy it. There are heterosexual examples that disprove this concept.
These heteros are not doing all they are supposed to do where the Lord is concerned.
Ok, you're not gay right?
Then... why are we talking about your relationship?
I think you missed my point.
If you were born straight, why is it so hard to believe that someone else could be born gay?
I just have a hard time believing it...
See, I was born straight. It's hardwired into my brain. I didn't choose to have images of naked women rolling through my head all day (I'm exaggerating ladies). I don't recall filling out the "Gay/Straight Form" where I got to choose what arouses me sexually. I also don't know anyone else who recalls filling out that form. In fact, I have yet to find any proof at all that such a form exists at all.
We are bombarded everyday with all kinds of mess. I feel we are influenced by these things. But the only ones that I would regard has being born into it are the hermaphrodites they have a right to choose which ever way they go.
Now is a good time to get back that "made in His image" thing.
People are born everyday that are biologically different from each other. The best example is... men and women! Do you realize that a Black man has more genetically in common with a White man than he does with a Black woman? Chew on that for a while Sister... ;D
Yeah...
My point is this...
No two of us are exactly alike, and no matter how broad a brush you paint with you're going to find people that don't fit into whatever it is you're trying to paint, because you're not God. Now, please tell me... who was made in God's image? Men... or women?
God is both...
Well... you likened it to a malady when you compared it to other maladies.
No gayness is not a malady it is a choice...
Of course. What we're disagreeing on is what the right choice is... for everyone.
I agree with you there. But, everyone must take their own journey. You can't take it for them.
Well... that depends on your definition of hell.
Heaven is to be constantly aware of the fact that you are one with God.
And how do you do that? By doing what is expected of you and praise him.
Hell is to not be aware of this fact...
Hell is aware and waiting...

Hey there folks... Sorry I haven't been around, I've just been insanely busy. I have a new job with a new schedule and my business is really taking off. Between those two things I fell like a Hebrew slave during tax season... On top of all that, the dating world has gotten a little bit more... interesting lately. I hardly have any free time at all these days. But I'll be ok... this kind of pace can't keep up for ever. ;D PS. Although I can't be here everyday like I use to... there's not a day that goes by that I don't think of you Ms. Blaque.
