Are you prepared for hurricane season?
Regardless of where you live, you can be affected by mother nature.
If officials told you to evacuate, what would you do? Do you have any place to go, money put away, emergency supplies?
What's your plan if the worse happens?

I wish I could say I was prepared but I am as poor as a New Orleans church mouse! I just pray the storms stay away from NJ!

Considering you live in New Jersey, hopefully you will never be faced with a hurricane. But having a supply of food, water, batteries, flashlights, etc is something that you could do little by little...just in case.

It is frightening because last year my in-laws were affected terribly they are from NO. Their home was one of the lucky ones to survive the storms but here we go again.

It is scary. But being insured and being prepared are very important.

Fortunately, I do not live near any body of water and there are no trees around my place...so I can get the supplies and ride it out here.
I wished Alberto could come this way.....we need some rain.
